Last Thursday evening, I attended The Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards 2023 at the stunning Liverpool Anglican Cathedral. Over 600 attended, and 19 awards were presented….and I’m delighted to announce that Liverpool Food Tours tour experience A Taste of Liverpool Food Tour’ won Experience of The Year.
It’s amazing and testimony to the amazing work of my guide team and the partnership we have with our fantastic independent venue partners who help make our tour experience what it is. Huge congratulations of course to all category finalists – Mersey Tunnel Tours, National Trust – The Beatles Childhood Homes, Magical Mystery Tour, Viking Quest Adventure Golf and Liverpool Famous Walking Tours.
All category entrants had to complete an application for shortlisting and those shortlisted underwent a mystery shop.
I’m excited about welcoming more tour guests this year. Liverpool has such a rich array of awesome food and drink venues that it’s fabulous to be able to showcase many to locals and tourists.
