Walking Food Tours UK is thrilled to be supporting The Joshua Tree Charity this spring as part of a deliciously exciting event taking place in the heart of Chester. On 14 May 2024, our Founder of our Chester food tours and MD Gareth is honoured to be involved in the Chester Safari Supper – a unique evening where food meets fundraising.
The Safari Supper, in aid of The Joshua Tree, is all about bringing people together to explore some of Chester’s finest independent food and drink venues, one course at a time. The event promises to showcase the very best of the city’s culinary talent – something we at Walking Food Tours UK are incredibly passionate about.
“It’s lovely to be involved and I’m really excited to reveal the food venues on the night,” said Gareth. “It’s a super way to support a great charity, whilst socialising over amazing food.”
The Joshua Tree Charity does vital work supporting families affected by childhood cancers across North West England and North Wales. With a focus on the emotional and practical support needed throughout treatment and beyond, it’s a cause close to many hearts – and one we’re proud to champion.
The Safari Supper format is a perfect fit for Chester’s thriving independent food scene – and for Walking Food Tours UK. With each course served at different locations around the city, guests will get to sample a true taste of Chester, while supporting an incredible cause.
If you’d like to support The Joshua Tree and enjoy a sociable, flavour-filled evening, book your ticket now via The Joshua Tree website.
Let’s make it a night to remember – for all the right reasons.
