Liverpool Restaurant Week has come to an end, and what a brilliant success it has been for the city.
Our very own Gareth spent the week eating his way around Liverpool and supporting as many venues as possible. A tough job, of course, but someone had to do it.
Across the week, we caught up with a number of participating restaurants, bars and independent venues, and the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. Every venue we spoke to was enthusiastic about being involved, with many highlighting the noticeable increase in footfall, bookings and general buzz the event had created.
It is clear that initiatives like Liverpool Restaurant Week can make a real difference – not only by boosting short-term bookings, but also by introducing new customers to venues they may not have discovered otherwise.

Celebrating Liverpool’s Food and Drink Scene
A huge congratulations must go to the team at Liverpool BID Company for organising such a standout event.
Bringing together more than 200 venues, with offers ranging from £5 to £35, is no small achievement. The variety on offer across the city was genuinely impressive, giving people the chance to explore everything from casual bites and independent cafés to restaurants, bars and special dining experiences.
The beautiful weather certainly helped too. Across Liverpool, terraces were packed, dining rooms were busy, and the city had a real sense of energy throughout the week.
Why Events Like This Matter
Events like Liverpool Restaurant Week are more important than ever.
The hospitality industry continues to face ongoing challenges, from rising costs to changing customer habits. Events that encourage people to get out, try somewhere new and support local venues play a vital role in keeping the city’s food and drink scene strong.
They also help remind people just how much choice Liverpool has to offer. Whether it is a long-established favourite or a hidden gem tucked away on a side street, the city’s food scene continues to grow, evolve and impress.
Keep Supporting Local Restaurants
While Liverpool Restaurant Week may now be over, the message remains the same: keep getting out, keep supporting local, and keep spreading the word about the places you have visited and enjoyed.
Leave a review, recommend a venue to a friend, share a photo, book again, or try somewhere new next time you are in the city.
And if you’re looking for a new way to experience Liverpool’s food and drink culture, our guided Liverpool Food Tours are a great place to start.
If this week proved anything, it is that Liverpool’s food scene is thriving – and very much worth celebrating.
