We’ve put together a little guide to some of our Liverpool food tour stops where you can pick up amazing festive food and drink.

It’s no secret – we love working with our venue partners. They bring the food, the atmosphere, and the stories to our experiences across Chester, Wrexham, Shrewsbury, Manchester and Liverpool.

Liverpool food partners

This year, we wanted to highlight a few Liverpool partners who have brilliant produce, gifts, and tasty ideas for the festive season.

Festive Drinks in Liverpool

Love Lane Brewery (Baltic Triangle)

We’ll start with Love Lane Brewery, right in the heart of the Baltic Triangle. They’ve got an incredible selection – including our favourite Santa’s Big Red IPA. It’s a lovely rounded ale, with that bite of bitterness you’d expect.

Bonus tip: keep an eye out for their Higson’s Oatmeal Stout on cask. It’s beautiful – a serious Guinness contender and locally made. What’s not to love?

Liverpool Tea Warehouse (Jamaica Street)

If you fancy something a little less boozy, head to Liverpool Tea Warehouse (just off Jamaica Street). It might not be warehouse-sized, but it’s packed with choice – over 250 different teas, from white and green to black, plus some very fancy Japanese ceremonial options.

At Christmas though, we’re all about their seasonal blends. Expect gingerbread-style infusions, and Deb (who runs LTW) also has a gorgeous Spiced Orange/Apple that’s perfect as a post-dinner winter warmer.

Lunya (Hanover Street)

If you’d prefer a classic festive staple, pop into Lunya on Hanover Street for their mulled wine pack, where you can add your own tipple (or enjoy it as it is).

We’ve not tried it personally yet, but the packaging is lovely – a great little gift idea.

Festive Food and Hampers

Christmas = hampers, and Liverpool is definitely not short of good ones.

A Tavola (Ropewalks)

First up: A Tavola, a brilliant Italian wine bar/deli in the Ropewalks area, just off Duke Street. A perfect spot to pause after Christmas shopping – especially if you fancy relaxing with Maria, the owner (you’ll be speaking Italian in no time).

They’ll put together a personalised hamper packed with quality pasta, dips, oils, and all the Italian treats you’d hope for. They also stock Panettone made by their sister company Gran Caffé, often presented in a beautiful display box.

Lunya (hampers and ‘create-your-own’ paella)

Staying with Lunya — they also have hampers on offer, from selections of Spanish beers to even a create-your-own paella kit.

Christmas hampers

Special mention for their sweet bits too. We picked up some chocolate orange snaps… and they didn’t even make it to the wrapping table. Never mind – there’s always next year.

Special Mention: Duke Street Market

A special mention to Duke Street Market, which we often recommend to guests on our tours. They’ve set up a donation station and drop-off point – a brilliant idea.

And while you’re there, the food and drink vendors are all fantastic (trust us… we’ve tried them all).

Merry Christmas!

Let us know if you enjoyed our selections, if you’d like to see anywhere else featured, or if you’ve tried any of these yourselves.

Merry Christmas,
