At Walking Food Tours UK, we love nothing more than combining our passion for food and drink with supporting fantastic causes. Recently, we were proud to welcome staff from The Very Group for a special Charity Food and Drink Tour in Chester – and what a memorable evening it was!
A Night of Food and Giving Back
The evening brought together great company, delicious food, and a meaningful purpose. Our guests visited four of Chester’s most-loved venues, each offering a unique flavour of the city.
Vin Santo – welcomed the group with a glass of fizz.
Pars Kahave – served up a vibrant mezze spread.
Artezzan – delighted with a beautifully crafted risotto.
Pastry Pedaleur – rounded off the evening in style with an indulgent Cheshire cheesecake.
Supporting the National Literacy Trust
The atmosphere was as warm as the weather, and together we raised over £700 for the National Literacy Trust – a cause close to many hearts, supporting children and adults with the vital gift of literacy.
We’re always grateful to our fantastic partner venues, whose generosity and hospitality make these events possible. As one of our favourite sayings goes: good food tastes even better when shared for a good cause.
Looking Ahead to Liverpool
More charity tours are already in the pipeline, with our next event set to take place in Liverpool this October. We can’t wait to continue creating unforgettable experiences while giving back to the community.
