Introducing The New Taste of Shrewsbury Walking Food Tour!

We are delighted to announce the official introduction of Shrewsbury Walking Food Tours!

Besides being the birthplace of Charles Darwin, the main location for filming of A Christmas Carol, and its infamous history of the wool industry, Shrewsbury is home many truly incredible independent food and drink venues.

This foodie tour will guide guests right through the heart of the town to explore off the beaten track venues. Guests will see the majestic Abbey, the scenic gardens surrounding the Library and the magnificent architecture of Shrewsbury railway station, with at least 5 food and/or drink stops between.

The Taste of Shrewsbury Food Walking Tour will showcase food and drink such as:-

  • Gelato: Learn the difference between ice-cream and gelato, as well as seeing behind the scenes of production. Combining creativity and chemistry to make a truly tasty sensational food product and even making their very own waffle cones on site!
  • Coffee: For all the coffee lovers out there, nothing will beat meeting some of the most passionate coffee connoisseurs and seeing the incredible equipment that roasts their beans to perfection. They ship beans all around the world but are based in the heart of Shrewsbury.
  • Dumplings/Pierogi: Nothing will beat these Polish and Asian delicacies. Packed with flavour and completely delicious.

When it comes to food and drink, we promise the best of the very best.

Whether you’ve visited us before in Chester or Liverpool or new to our Walking Food Tours, we would love to welcome you to this historic town with so much food and drink to offer.

We hope to see you soon!
